Hilary Friesen

Senior Director, Social Change at Argyle

Hilary Friesen

Hilary will serve as the initial contact for the GN Contracting Authorities, connecting them with the appropriate workshop instructor/lead and providing support to ensure each project meets expectations and is on time and on budget. Hilary supports our team in identifying strategic opportunities for clients and developing and implementing plans to help clients reach their unique goals. In her 16 years at Argyle, she has established herself as a behavioural change expert and has led strategic communications planning for social marketing programs in injury prevention and return to work, websites and social media, product launches and business-to-business marketing. Hilary has established herself as a leader in stakeholder engagement, project management, behavioural change and strategic communications planning, qualifications she brings to the fore when delivering workshops. Clients benefit from her practical experience and ability to quickly hone in on ways to apply theory to the participants’ workplace needs.

Hilary’s experience and her continuing education activities – including IAP2 Foundations in Public Participation and accreditation in Public Relations from CPRS – are the foundations on which she delivers communications workshops. Over the past three years, Hilary has led the delivery of Argyle communications workshops to GN staff, including Plain Language, Effective Communications and Effective Presentations.
