Abbott’s innovative FreeStyle Libre allows patients to conveniently check their glucose with a painless, one-second scan of their sensor – offering an accurate glucose reading anytime, anywhere and a greater sense of control over their health.
Despite its obvious benefits, the FreeStyle Libre system was coming into a market facing a long list of challenges – no provincial coverage, little brand loyalty, and an ecommerce heavy strategy. It was revolutionary, which also meant it was new and unfamiliar.
With this in mind, we set out to introduce the FreeStyle Libre system by generating awareness, driving consumer engagement and increasing online conversion rates. But we knew we needed to show, not tell. Our solution? A mobile experience program.
Across nearly 20 locations in just 25 days, the experience in that bright yellow truck demonstrated to customers just how exciting and revolutionary the FreeStyle Libre was, and set the foundation for the behavioral changes needed for product adoption.
